Sorry for not writing sooner. Children and teachers had a fantastic time when you came to our school on 26th June. It was brilliant to see the smiles and spontaneous dancing of even the shyest of children.

We were recommended Juma from another school and were not disappointed. The children thoroughly enjoyed their workshops and learnt a lot about the Caribbean in the process. Highly worthwhile. What a wonderful morning we had when the Juma Steel band came. The concert was excellent and many familiar tunes were played that the girls here recognised. The workshops were great for learning about how steel drums are made, and all the girls that wanted to have a go at playing them were able to. Juma came to Brockswood School today and they were terrific! The introductory concert was wonderful... the children and staff all joining in, singing and dancing. One teacher commented that she'd never seen so many happy, smiling faces all at once. After the concert, Juma gave workshops for the Juniors. These were absolutely great. Perfectly paced and aimed at just the right level for each age group. Everybody had a chance to play an instrument and we ended with a very interesting question and answer session. Then, to cap it all, the band played and we danced out of the hall, all the way back to our classrooms. Brilliant, absolutely brilliant. Thanks again Juma!

I hope one day that I will be able to learn how to play the steel drums and to experience more new different musical instruments. The steel drums are really fun and amazing to play. I can't even believe that you can play steel drums on wedding days!

I was stunned that you could play those songs at our St. paulinus School, especially 'Umbrella'.

When I heard you comming to Garland Junior school on Friday to see you play the steel music I was really excited!
